JAKARTA - Upset occurred in the prestigious men's singles category in semifinal, Lee Chong Wei, the top seed at Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2014 tournament, was stunned by Japan's player, Kenichi Tago in a three set battle, 21-19, 15-21, 21-16.

Kenichi Tago who played aggressively since the beginning of the match, had high self confidence and determination as he gave hard times for Lee Chong Wei. The first game was thrilling as the two players attacked alternately. However, Tago who played better that evening managed to get out from pressure and scored points until he ended the first game.

In the second game, it was Lee Chong Wei's turn to win after he seemed to change his style. Tago continued to struggle in the third set until he closed the gap from Lee Chong Wei. Tago won the third set with 21-16.
