JAKARTA - After assuring a ticket to the second round of Indonesia Open 2014 by stunning Japan's third seed, Hiroyuki Endo/Kenichi Hayakawa in a two set game, 24-22 and 21-19, yesterday evening, Wednesday (18/06/2014). indonesia's Berry Angriawan/Ricky Karanda Suwardi has been expected by a tough rival.

Yes, the young doubles will clash with Malaysia's doubles, Tan Boon Heong/Tan Wee Kiong,who also assured a ticket to the second round after stunning Thailand's men's doubles, Maneepong jongjit/Nipitphon Puangpuapech, in a rubber game,, 12-21, 21 18, and 21-19.

Asked about their strategy to tame Malaysia's doubles, Berry Angriawan said they will play aggressively. "Taking on Malaysia's doubles we must play aggressively as Malaysian defense is mean," said Berry.

Meanwhile, commenting on the Indonesian supporters when they fought hard to handle Endo/Hayawaka's pressure  at 18-19 in the decisive second round, Berry replied, "First of all, we tried to relax, tried to take a deep breath before doing serves, and kept playing the game.
